Our Services
We provide safe, structured supported accommodation for care leavers aged 16–17, combining 24-hour support with a trauma-informed, relationship-based approach that promotes independence, stability and positive progression into adulthood.
Small-scale, high-quality accommodation designed to create consistency, reduce disruption and support meaningful long-term outcomes.
Life at Jacaranda Meadow
Life at Jacaranda Meadow is structured, supportive and focused on helping young people build confidence, independence and stability in a safe home environment.
Each young person is supported to develop a consistent daily routine that reflects their individual needs, education, employment or training commitments, and personal goals.
Mornings are supported where needed, helping young people establish positive routines and prepare for their day. Throughout the day, support is provided with education, appointments, life skills and wellbeing.
Evenings focus on relaxation, reflection and developing independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, cleaning and planning ahead.
Young people are encouraged to take increasing responsibility for themselves over time, with support gradually reduced as confidence and capability grow.
The home environment is calm and structured, with access to shared spaces, private bedrooms and outdoor areas that support both independence and wellbeing.
We encourage positive routines, healthy relationships and engagement in activities that build confidence and a sense of purpose.
Our Accommodation
Our home is a six-bedroom Victorian property located in Bedfordshire, carefully refurbished to provide safe, stable and high-quality
supported accommodation for care leavers aged 16–17.
The environment is designed to feel calm, welcoming and homely, while also providing the structure and safety required for effective support and safeguarding.
Young people have access to both private and shared spaces that promote independence, routine and positive wellbeing.
Learning & Personal Development
We are committed to supporting young people to develop confidence, curiosity and a positive approach to learning as part of their journey towards independence.
Our home includes access to a dedicated library of over 100 books, kindly supported by The Wilbur & Niso Smith Foundation,
which encourages reading, reflection and personal development.
Young people are supported to engage with education, training or employment in a way that is structured, consistent and appropriate to their individual needs and goals.
Spacious desks are available in each bedroom, allowing young people to focus on learning, complete coursework, or develop independent study habits.
We aim to create an environment where learning is part of everyday life, supporting both personal growth and long-term positive outcomes.
